After an extensive winter walk in the area around Königslutter, we were looking forward to our to go menu we bought on the way. The ordering process was uncomplicated, it was relatively quick, we didn't have to wait long. When I got home, however, I was very disappointed, tough beef, vegetables floating in fat, very greasy noodles, duck that tasted like old fry fat. It's a shame, unfortunately I don't necessarily recommend this place to others.
Delicious, we'll be back.
Not bad
Delicious as always, we'll be back, sure.
For people who are very hungry, it can be a way to get their stomachs full, but then it shouldn't necessarily depend on the taste. The refilling of the buffet unfortunately often took longer (maybe caught the wrong time) and sometimes, for example, the mushrooms still almost raw in sauce. Similar models (all you can eat) are available in Hamburg enough with a larger selection, better preparation and also a little cheaper.
Super delicious food, very friendly service, nicely done on the inside with a fish pond
Nice service but the food á la cart was not good! But I will test the buffet again, as you know, you should give a second chance;)
Very friendly and courteous service, tasty preparation of the dishes, exemplary compliance with hygiene rules.
Good, delicious food, nice atmosphere, nice service.
Delicious
The staff tried very hard, but the ambience was not very inviting and it looked a bit grubby. Buffet currently not possible (due to corona), we ordered a la carte duck. The bird was acceptable, the rest was okay. The ice remains dried up in the freezer and definitely no longer edible. Too bad.
Clean, well-kept restaurant, with a large selection of food
Very tasty food and super nice service. To recommend.
Delicious food, very nice service and a great terrace.
A pleasant china restaurant, you should only stick to the times when you look at the buffet meal. If you like to eat late, like us, you can quickly turn into leftovers, because when it comes to 8:30 p.m. there is hardly any refilling. In principle, the staff is friendly, although occasionally attention should be focused a little. Not comparable in price to offers in Braunschweig, but better than any Chinese in BS. There is decent beer and you can usually park right in front of the door. Free internet access should be available.
China garden We had wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time and the wedding day was an opportunity. We were there on December 12th, it was a Thursday and there were few guests in the restaurant. We chose a table right next to the built-in water basin in which a few koi and turtles feel comfortable. We ordered the Chinese rice table for two, a large bottle of water, a tea and a Ducksteiner. The bottle of water was brought to the table with two glasses and, like the beer, was pleasantly chilled. The tea followed a little later and was brewed with fresh tea leaves. This was immediately followed by the first course of the menu, the special house salad. Stripes of duck, chicken breast, crab and cooked ham were served on a little fresh mixed Chinese salad, two small spring rolls completed the meal. Everything was great in taste and freshness, only the rolls were only standard goods. For some getting used to, a lot of cold meat served on a little salad, my wife was not completely convinced but I liked it. The next course was the "wow" effect: probably the best wantan we have had in many years. Crunchy, hot and great in taste. We had more meat stuffing elsewhere, but that didn't diminish the enjoyment at all, rather the opposite. The sweet and sour sauce was perfect, slightly sweet and mildly sour. Then came the main course: roasted Hong Kong duck on Chinese vegetables and lobster crab fried in tempura japanade with a crispy side dish - unfortunately I forgot to ask what that was - I thought it was fried rice noodle. The sauces were conveniently served separately. Another well-seasoned sweet and sour sauce, this time with pieces of pineapple and a mild dark soy-based sauce with mushrooms and bamboo. We had selected fried noodles as a side dish. Both dishes excited. The duck was crispy and juicy, the crabs tender and both simply divine. The rice noodles were crispy, the vegetables were good, but could have been a bit crisper. The noodles were perfectly fine, unobtrusive in taste, went perfectly with the two main dishes. At the end there were baked fruits with honey (pineapple, banana and apple), crispy and delicious. The service was attentive, quick and friendly throughout the evening. The restaurant is clean and well-kept and the fish tank is definitely an eye-catcher, especially for the little guests who are also welcome to give the fish some food.
Great food and ambience. Inexpensive despite good quality. We recommend
The restaurant is small and quite crowded at lunchtime. But the staff is child-friendly and the pond inside with the goldfish doesn't just look good. Thanks to the food for the fish, children can keep themselves busy. The food is good. The buffet looks quite small. And this despite the fact that many of the standard inserts are still available.
Very delicious buffet!
Delicious again. Ideal standard chicken sweet and sour
Very nice service, good seating, the buffet food tastes better than the food a la cart, it lacks the typical China spices in the food and it tastes as it is in Chinese grocery stores
Food was good but there were plenty ants there.
Cozy Chinese-style restaurant. Good kitchen . We would be served very friendly and quickly. The dishes were very good. The service is very attentive. You can also eat outside in a beautiful garden. The prices are reasonable.
